I won’t hold it against you

Jim made me remember with his last post our trip in Milwaukee and one of the most difficult expressions I heard from his brother: I won’t hold it against you, which can be translated in Italian with “Non te lo farò pesare”.

Example:

You did a big mess last night… but I won’t hold it against you.
